Mr. Bud Styer

Director of Personnel and Programming

Mr. Bud has been a resident of the Lodi area for over 33 years. He is the Operations Manager for the Smokey Hollow Day Camp and Owner of Smokey Hollow Campground and Founder of “Camping For The Fun of It.” The summer program allows Mr. Bud to be a SUPER BIG KID; exposing young minds to one-of-a-kind locations in Wisconsin and unique life experiences. Mr. Bud is a substitute teacher in four school districts K-12. Serves on several legislative committees in Madison. Board Member of Wisconsin Campground Association (WACO). Board Member of National Associations of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC). A member of many area Chamber of Commerces, and tries to be involved with any activity that involves children within local communities.

Ms Chelsea

This will be Ms. Chelsea’s 4th Summer at Day Camp! Miss Chelsea was previously a counselor for the youngest age groups, but has spent weeks with every group, and loves different aspects of all of the age groups at camp! Miss Chelsea is graduating this spring from Carthage College with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Chemistry and a double minor in Biology and Religion. She plans to attend a medical or biomedical science program in the fall and plans to one day be a practicing pediatrician. Ms. Chelsea is also a lifeguard at camp and is finishing her final year on the collegiate team at Carthage. She also enjoys playing soccer, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Miss Chelsea is excited for camp this summer and cannot wait to see returning faces and new friends!

Ms. Tammy

Co-Director of Programming

Ms. Tammy has been with day camp since 2004 and has held just about every position within camp! During the school year, Ms. Tammy works with students with special needs and as a library media assistant at an elementary school in a nearby community. She is also attending the University of Wisconsin in Superior to obtain her degree in Elementary/Special Education. When Ms. Tammy is not working, she enjoys camping, reading, gardening and arts and crafts. Ms. Tammy is looking forward to another great summer!
