STAFF - COUNSELORS
Hello everyone! I can’t wait to spend another summer out at camp. This is my third year as a counselor and am looking forward to it greatly! I just completed my second year at Edgewood College and plan on majoring in Accounting. I am also a member of the soccer team there. I enjoy being outside and spending time with my friends and family. I’m excited to meet many new faces this summer and plan on having another great year!
I’m so excited to spend my first summer as a camp counselor at Smokey Hollow Day Camp. I will be working with the FOXES (5-6 year olds). I recently graduated from Augustana College with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders and psychology. This Fall I will attend UW Madison for my master’s degree in speech-language pathology. I’ve had lots of experience with children, and I hope to continue to work with children in my career. In the summer, I love spending time outside hiking and fishing with my family, friends, and dogs. I also love to read and cook any chance I get. I can’t wait to meet you all! Get ready for a fun summer.
This will be my first summer at camp. I just completed my first year at UW La Crosse where I am majoring in Elementary Education. While attending college I helped teach youth yoga classes and tutored at an after school program. I enjoy tennis, figure skating, running, and hanging out with friends. I couldn’t be more excited to meet everyone and spend my summer at Smokey Hollow!
I’m really looking forward to my first year as a WOLF (8-9 year olds) counselor! I currently attend Edgewood College where I plan on majoring in Psychology with a clinical counseling concentration and a focus on child development. In my free time I enjoy photography, hiking around waterfalls, and spending time with friends and family. I can’t wait to spend the summer with you all at camp, it’s going to be a blast!
Hi! I’m the junior counselor. I am 17 years old and will be a senior at Lodi High School in the Fall. This is my second year working at Smokey Hollow Day Camp. It is a lot of fun and I enjoy meeting all the kids. Outside of working, I enjoy softball, camping, snowmobiling and hanging with friends. I also previously was in gymnastics and volleyball. I am looking forward to another summer at Smokey Hollow.
This is my first summer as a camp counselor at Smokey Hollow Day Camp! I am a mom of five kids — four girls and a boy. During the school year I’m a paraprofessional at Poynette Elementary School. Between work and all of my kids school sports this makes me a pretty busy mom. As a family, we enjoy being outside, hiking, going to the beach, and grilling out for dinner every chance we get. I am super excited for camp this summer and all the fun activities, being outside. I can’t wait for the field trips and meeting all the kids.
I am very excited to be able to work as a summer camp counselor this summer. I just finished my first year at Carroll University as an Exercise Science/Pre-Physical Therapy Major. In my free time I love to do a martial art called Brazilian Jiu jitsu, but I also play intramural soccer in college. I am looking forward to meeting you all!
This will be my first year as a counselor and I am so excited! This upcoming school year, I will be attending UW Green Bay, majoring in psychology and an emphasis in developmental psychology. While in high school I participated in band and I was a teaching assistant for a 5th grade classroom. I’m looking forward to spending the summer with all of you!
Hey everybody! This year will be my first year at Smokey Hollow. I grew up in Hull, Iowa, and later moved to Pennsylvania to attend Grove City College, where I majored in PreK-4 elementary education. I recently moved to Wingham, Ontario, Canada to work as a teachers aide there. In my free time, I enjoy coaching gymnastics, playing piano, baking, and reading. I am really looking forward to meeting you all and spending this summer at camp!
This will be my first year at camp, and I am so excited. I will be working with WOLVES (8-9 year olds). This fall I will begin my first year at Lawrence University to study music composition and percussion performance. Outside of music, I enjoy being outdoors and going on runs. I have a lot of fond memories of being at many different camps and of my time in the Boy Scouts of America. I can’t wait to meet you all and begin this summer!
